Terenzio Mamiani della Rovere (Pesaro, 19 September 1799 – Rome, 21 May 1885) was an Italian philosopher, politician, writer and patriot. The last count of Sant'Angelo in Lizzola, he was among the leading figures of the Italian Risorgimento period.
Cousin of Giacomo Leopardi, he came into contact in Florence in 1827 with the circles of intellectuals close to the Gabinetto Vieusseux (when he began to collaborate on the periodical Antologia), and then developed his own political experience by participating in the riots of 1831 first in Bologna, then in Ancona. He was Minister of the Interior in the provisional Government of the United Italian Provinces
